Account Executive

Yonder Data Solutions are an award-winning survey and data delivery agency based in Clerkenwell, London. We provide state of the art data capture, delivery and dashboard/visualisation solutions. The surveys we carry out cover a very broad range of research areas and industry sectors. We conduct online and telephone surveys and operate our own online panel Y Live. Yonder Data Solutions are committed to working in a hybrid way, with team members working in a manner that works best for them, whether that be working largely from home or making use of our fantastic office space for a few days a week. We would expect Account Executive applicants to be within commuting distance to our office, and a lot of the initial job training will be done in the office. After that point we would encourage you to find an office and remote working balance that works best for you, although we would have occasions where we expect and encourage you to attend events in person where possible.

Role overview

Our quality of service is known as first class by our clients. We are looking for a driven Account Executive to support the Yonder Data Solutions Senior Team with commercials. The Account Executive will provide quotations to clients, acting as the key client contact and public face of Yonder Data Solutions. The Account Executive will report to the Deputy Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide quotations to clients for upcoming potential Market Research Projects
  • Liaise with suppliers to commission services where necessary
  • Liaise with the Yonder Data Solutions operations team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the client’s specification

Required skills and abilities

Here at Yonder Data Solutions, we exist to help our clients go further. We expect the Account Executive to have a professional, proactive and diligent approach to work. As you will serve as a client’s first experience of Yonder Data Solutions on a given project, a friendly, approachable and professional way of communicating is essential.  

The Account Executive must be IT literate, and have:

  • ability to use Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • an interest in market research;
  • an interest in commercials;
  • an ability to distil client requirements to deliver a winning brief whilst maintaining profit margins;
  • excellent attention to detail;
  • excellent time management skills (with the ability to work on multiple projects at once);
  • ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly to clients;
  • excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
  • ability to work independently and also be a great team player;
  • ability to communicate clearly and confidently with the internal team, clients and suppliers;
  • ability to proactively solve problems and escalate issues if necessary;
