Associate Director, Research Practice

In a nutshell

We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded and quant-focused Associate Director (AD) to join our growing team. If you are a Research Manager, an AD or equivalent (e.g., Account Manager, Consultant or Senior Consultant) with an established track record of delivering client work to the highest standard, and you have a strong interest in consumer projects and customer understanding, then we would like to hear from you.

Your skills & experience

You will have been working as a hands-on, quant specialist in a market research agency or consultancy for the last 6+ years, including experience of brand and comms tracking. You have a broad range of interests, are curious about how the business world works and how key insights can influence business decisions. You are used to building strong client relationships, generating revenue, managing people and delivering great work. You will be interested in innovative research techniques and are a great storyteller (going well beyond PowerPoint). Your clients will trust you and you will have the respect of your peers.  But you want more.

The role

We need an Associate Director to add to the experience and commercial energy of the team. You will play a key role in driving the business forward by generating significant revenue by responding to research briefs from existing clients and helping to establish revenue-generating relationships with new clients (working closely with our business development team to create winning proposals). The focus of your client relationships will be on brand and comms tracking, however, they are not limited to this and you will also work on answering broader client challenges through the likes of segmentations, innovation, analytics and other ad-hoc work. You will work across a variety of sectors, including technology, financial service and retail. A keen eye for detail is a must, as well as experience of presenting results to senior client audiences. Working with the rest of the team, you will ensure research projects are delivered to the highest standards, whilst supporting and mentoring team members in their development.

What Yonder can offer you

Yonder has a real buzz as we continue to grow. We reward people who help to drive that growth and the company supports and encourages new ideas which will add value.
