Client Analyst / Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Client Analyst to join the growing Finance team, who work alongside the rest of the Specialist Teams (IT, People, Office Management etc) to support the business.

They will be a key team player, ensuring they live by our values and support the Finance team in meeting their financial objectives. Commercially minded with experience of business partnering with client owners, project accounting, billing, collecting & allocating cash and credit control. Role will be based in the London office but will also cover offices in New York, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

  • organise and document billing schedules for each client
    • obtain POs and raise invoices each month for the Group (including intercompany) on a timely basis to minimise the accrued income balance
    • where clients have portals, invoices need to be uploaded and status monitored
    • liaise with owners on a regular basis to resolve queries, chase POs
    • credit control of clients
    • posting and allocating cash receipts, managing debtors, chasing for remittances where required
    • project reconciliations, e.g. ensuring sales and costs amounts in Salesforce agree back to customer/supplier invoices sent/received
    • investigating any issues and following up with the client
    • forecasting revenue by project in Salesforce and Paprika
    • running reports in Salesforce
  • Company overview of debtors and accrued income tracking any updates
  • Company overview of billing and collections tracking any updates
  • Monthly and ad-hoc reporting working with Salesforce, Paprika and the Resource Management System
  • Ad-hoc tasks as and when required

Key competencies

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Paprika
  • Proficient on Excel – pivots, vlookups, sumifs etc.
  • Positive with a can-do attitude
  • Proactive and adaptive to a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-motivated
