Consultant, Customer Understanding, Quantitative

In a nutshell

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, quant-focused or mixed-method Consultant to work with us on government and corporate affairs-focussed research projects for a range of interesting and high-profile public and private sector clients. If you are an experienced Research Executive or Senior Research Executive, with an established track record of delivering client work to the highest standard, and you have a strong interest in current affairs and social/ political/ economic trends, then we would like to hear from you.

Your skills & experience

You would have been a Research Executive for at least 2 years and are ready to step into a Consultant role. You have a broad range of interests, are curious about how the business world works and follow the current affairs and political trends that influence it. You demonstrate solid storytelling, written and verbal skills, and have excellent attention to detail. You can creatively apply research to business challenges and use your initiative to grow, develop and learn.

The role

You will play a key part in proactively supporting the team at Yonder, working on projects focussed on issues relating to government and corporate affairs and will analyse data (qualitative and quantitative) to help advise our clients at a strategic level. These projects may focus on public opinion, stakeholder opinion (e.g. MPs, national journalists, leaders of influential third sector organisations etc.), demographic analysis, or other forms of data. You will play a key role in writing up, visualising, and presenting findings.

You will be heavily involved in designing and conducting these projects, thinking creatively to determine the best approach for addressing client challenges and then managing colleagues and suppliers (where relevant) to produce final reports, presentations and recommendations for the client. Often you will work with more senior colleagues, directors and principals but you will also be expected to lead specific elements of projects without close supervision. You will also have an interest in the other specialisms that Yonder offers from brand strategy to advanced data analytics and design. You will be a mentor to Junior Associates and Associates in the team.

What Yonder can offer you

Yonder has a real buzz as we continue to grow. We reward people who help to drive that growth and the company supports and encourages new ideas which will add value. We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday (plus your birthday day off!), a 5% employer pension contribution, life assurance and other benefits like volunteering leave, flexible working and 4pm finishes on Fridays, etc.
