The poll covered the following topics: Are Children Raised by Gay Couples Likely to have as a Good an Upbringing as Children Raised by Heterosexual Couples; Should Church Groups Adhere to Laws Protecting Gay Couples from Discrimination in Adoption Proceedings; Are there Certain Issues where Individuals Religious Beliefs Should take Precedence Over Anti-Discrimination Laws; Are Religious Groups Prejudiced.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,004 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 24th January 2007 and 25th January 2007. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
