Shareholders should be able to force top executives to accept lower pay deals and repay bonuses following poor performance, according to new research by Populus.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 2,068 adults online between 11th and 13th May. Interviews were conducted across Great Britain and the results have been weighted to be representative of all British adults.
