The poll covered the following issues: Awareness of Technical Terms Relating to Internet Security; Levels of Concern about Internet Use (ID Theft and Others); Internet Security Measures; Internet Penetration.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,021 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 8th February 2006 and 9th February 2006. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
