The poll covered The Political Spectrum (where voters place themselves, the parties and party leaders on the left,right scale,) statements about the parties and leaders, and topical questions on the economy.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1004 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 7th September 2007 and 9th September 2007. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
