This poll,part of the regular monthly series for The Times,covered the leader index, who is most trusted to deal with the problems facing Britain’s economy, and whether the law should be changed to legalise assisted suicide in the UK.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,504 adults aged 18+ by telephone between July 17th and 19th 2009. Interviews were conducted across the country and the results have been weighted to be representative of all adults.
