This poll,part of a regular monthly series for The Times,covered Voting Intention and the ongoing debate about the abuse of children by priests in the Catholic Church.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,507 adults aged 18+ by telephone on April 6th 2010. Interviews were conducted across the country and the results have been weighted to be representative of all adults.
