The poll covered the following issues: Views on Current UK Energy Production; Perceptions of the Main Sources of Power; Views on Government Considerations on Power Production; Views on Importing Gas; Attitudes towards Nuclear Power; Views on Renewable Energy Sources.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,003 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 1st July 2005 and 6th July 2005. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
