The poll covered the following topics: Are Faith Schools Divisive; Religious Teaching should not occur in State Schools; Do People Mind Sending their Children to Faith Schools of Differing Religions to their Own; Are Muslim Schools more worrying than Christian Schools.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,009 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 25th October 2006 and 26th October 2006. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
