The poll covered the following issues: Issue Importance of Immigration in Determining Vote Choice; Personal View on Immigration; Performance of Parties on Immigration.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,004 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 27th January 2005 and 28th January 2005. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
