Political Parties and the Environment

The poll covered the following issues: The Impact of Climate Issues on Vote Choice; Should the Government Tax Activities that Cause Pollution; The Conservatives are More Likely to Protect the Environment than Labour or Lib/Dem; Do Politicians Back Words up with Actions When it Comes to the Environment.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,005 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 4th October 2006 and 5th October 2006. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
