The poll covered the following issues: Are People Afraid of Discussing Muslim Issues; Are Western People Suitably Respectful towards Muslims; Should People be Allowed Freedom of Speech if what they are saying is Offensive to Muslims; Are Muslims Protesters Threatening Freedom of Speech in the UK.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,033 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 13th October 2006 and 15th October 2006. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
