The poll covered the following issues: Perceptions of Most Worrying’Global Threat’; Views on the Environment; Views on Governmental Priorities; Governmental Spending Priorities; Perceived Reliability of Environmental Information; Effective Action on Environment (General and Personal); Views on Nuclear Power.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,003 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 25th July 2005 and 26th July 2005. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
