The Local Elections and Scottish Devolution

The poll covered the following topics: Preference of Government (Labour or Conservative); Voting intention (effects of Brown and Cameron); Labour’s impact on Britain over the previous ten years; The full independence of Scotland; Should England have its own Parliament; Attitudes towards a Scottish PM of Britain who represents a Scottish constituency.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1005 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 2nd May 2007 and 3rd May 2007. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
