This poll,in addition to the regular monthly series for The Times covers the rights of gay couples.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,001 adults aged 18+ by telephone between June 9th and 10th 2009. Interviews were conducted across the country and the results have been weighted to be representative of all adults.
