This poll,part of the regular monthly series for The TImes,covered the leader index, who’s to blame for the banking system crisis and Gordon Brown’s government reshuffle.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,503 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 3rd October 2008 and 5th October 2008. Interviews were conducted across the country and the results have been weighted to be representative of all adults.
