The poll covered the following issues: Importance of Success Measures to Good quality Healthcare; NHS Performance on Success Measures; NHS Performance over Time; The Delivery Deficit; Attitudes towards NHS; Labour and the NHS.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,210 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 1st March 2005 and 1st August 2005. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
