As we immersed ourselves in the project – through interviews, research and workshopping – it became evident this was a strikingly human-centric business. Their distinction in the sector is both the quality of their client relationships and the value they bring to individuals through their tools and products.
Establishing a human tone that brought the impact on the client or individual to the fore allowed Emergn to stand apart from the ubiquitous jargon and stock imagery in the market.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, the
brand was positioned on the message: Ideas to
Impact. Everything Emergn does helps their clients
transform ideas into the hands of customers, sooner.
We wanted to get that idea across in the visual
identity with an impactful kinetic typographic style,
bold colour palette and people-based imagery.
We developed a cohesive identity system that could
flex for the education-led product, VFQ. Introducing
hand-drawn mark-ups that evoke the experience of
learning; mistakes, iterating and getting ideas out at
