The poll covered the following topics: Do People like David Cameron and know what he stands for; Is David Cameron in Touch with Ordinary Voters; Would David Cameron make a Better PM than Gordon Brown; Do the Conservatives have a Real Chance in the next General Election.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,006 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 29th November 2006 and 30th November 2006. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
