The poll covered the following issues: Placement of Political Parties on Left,Right Spectrum; Self-Placement on Left-Right Spectrum; Placement of Politicians on Left-Right Spectrum.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,337 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 13th January 2006 and 15th January 2006. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
