This poll,part of the regular monthly series for The Times,covered the leader index, who is most trusted to deal with the problems facing Britain’s economy.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,504 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 6th February 2009 and 8th February 2009. Interviews were conducted across the country and the results have been weighted to be representative of all adults.
